Released from Ellis Island

New York -- Elena Woodford (above), who says she is the daughter of a Russian nobleman, Prince Tsoulonkidze, and the estranged wife of William Woodford of London, was released yesterday from Ellis Island, where she had been held for deportation, on $500 bail. She said she'd sue to annul the marriage and then try to join the British Ambulance Service. An immigration official said she testified she lived in Germany from 1931 to 1934, knew Reichsmarschal Goering and was a Berlin radio commentator.
