Scene on the upper deck of the Lloyd I. Seaman, a unique floating hospital which takes more than 900 mothers and their children for a free cruise around the waters of New York City every single day throughout summer. Operated by the St. John's Guild, a non-sectarian philanthropic organization, the trip is a combination joyride and health checkup. Free clinics are provided for the benefit of the mothers and their youngsters.
