Mrs. Florence Williams, secretary in the office of Frank Siegal, president of Distributive, Processing, and Office Workers Union of America, confers with Attorney Allan R. Rosenberg before declining to answer asked by Thomas H. Brenahan, counsel for the Massachusetts Special Commission on Communism and Subversive Activity at State House, Boston, February 24th. Mrs. Williams invoked the fifth amendment against self incrimination several times while testifying. She also refused to answer questions as to whether she was a member of the communist party.
