Reed's new press secretary, Jefferson D. Ackor, 29, assumed his new duties 10/11/65 at the State House in Augusta. A native of Watchung, N.J., he recently was New York District Sales Manager for Simplatrol Products Corp. Married an a four-year Navy veteran, he is a 1963 graduate of the University of Maine School of Journalism.
