Bone, Muirhead, Sir, 1876-1953 · 1920–1921
On the left the spire of St. Ouen is the most conspicuous object. The verge of the Seine runs along the left side beneath the road which passes between the houses and with another beyond it, crosses the river to the right. In the foreground the artist's son Stephen is seated sketching, on a wooden wharf. The burr on the new work is much reduced.
