Pulitzer Mementoes. Dean Carl Ackerman of the Pulitzer School of Journalism, Columbia University, sits at the desk used by the late Joseph Pulitzer in his office at the New York World which Pulitzer published, and looks over a copy of The Old World. This picture was taken at the school which Pulitzer endowed and which was started after his death in 1911. The school has a number of Pulitzer mementoes. The 100th birthday anniversary of Mr. Pulitzer, who was also publisher of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, will be observed on April 10.
