Saves Thousands of Lives Here is the synthetic rubber suit which has been provided every man in the American merchant marine. It is saving thousands of lives. The suit goes on over everything, including over a kapok life belt. The wearer is protected against cold, fire, wetting, wind, and the inside space is big enough to hold food, water, and other things. Each one weights 11 1/2 pounds. It has weighted feet and finger-formed gloves. A trained man can get into it in one minute. Some do it in 30 seconds.
