Mrs. Roslyn Kaplan was being held by police 2/23 in connection with the shooting of her husband, Howard Kaplan, 43-year-old self-employed accountant. Police said Kaplan was killed by a single bullet from a rifle in the couple's home at 1368 Kew Ave., Hewlett, following an argument. Police said the Kaplans' three sons, aged 4, 15, and 18, did not witness the shooting.
