Sarni Quits Baseball--Bill Sarni, former St. Louis Cardinal and New York Giant's catcher whose career was cut short by a heart attack in 1957, is with his family after he announced that he has quit the game to enter the securities business. With Sarni and his wife, Bette Jane, are their children, Jeff, 4, Kim, 2, and Marc, 10 weeks old. Sarni was a coach for Rochester in the International League last season.
