The Roof Fell In-In Charlton, the wreckage of part of the Charlton Woolen Mills, isolated by flood waters, lurches crazily along shore line. Charlton was one of the Massachusetts communities most severely hurt by the flood, which left thousands of workers jobless in industrial sections of the state, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Raging waters hurled huge boulders around, causing great destruction.
