Siamese twin sisters Santina (left photo) and Giuseppina Foglia (right) rest in oxygen tents at Turin Children's Hospital 5/10 after a team of 15 surgeons successfully separated them. The girls' mother, Mrs. Giuseppe Foglia, stands by Giuseppina's bedside in right photo. The six-year-old twins, who had been joined at the base of the spine, were reported in satisfactory condition.
