Santa Gets Lift From World’s Largest Truck. In Philadelphia on an inspection trip, Santa stopped at the Yale & Towne Manufacturing Company to look over the world’s largest industrial truck. This 80,000 pound giant, just completed, could help him out on Christmas Eve when there will be more stockings to fill than ever before, according to the recent Census. The truck was built by Yale to speed the handling and production of critically needed strip steel at Bethlehem Steel’s Buffalo, N. Y. plant. He’s passing out gifts to the Yale employees above to save a trip back.
