Roger Zane Dedmond (R) and his father, Bobo, (L) appear very jubilant here 2/29 after a Greenwood judge signed an order freeing young Dedmond from a Union County prison camp where he was serving an 18-year sentence for the slaying of his wife. Efforts to free Dedmond began two weeks ago when a Gaffney, S.C., textile worker was arrested for the strangling of three young women near Gaffney.
