Brown, Jr., vice-president of the Early Times Distillery Co., Louisville, Ky. Diehl's original mixed drink recipe, called the Blue Berry Times, was declared the winner of the $1000 grand prize in the Grand National Finals of the Early Times National Mixed Drink Competition, held in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Beverly Hills, Calif., Thursday evening, June 5.
