Bryn Mawr, PA. - Praised by the heads of three nations for her leadership and contributions to welfare work, Miss Jane Addams of Hull House, Chicago, received at Bryn Mawr College this afternoon the M. Carey Thomas prize of $5,000 awarded at intervals "To an American Woman in recognition of eminent achievement." About 1,000 undergraduates, Alumnae and friends of the college attended the presentation ceremony.
