The church surmounted by a cupola and flanked by low buildings on either side, is seen across the Arno. Here are two small boats close to the near shore, on which men, varying in number and action in the several states, are engaged in sifting gravel and sand. There are no windows in the wail that extends to 55 mm. from the right end of the plate.
