Protest at Commencement -- Four graduating Wilson College girl students in Chambersburg, Pa. wear protest costumes at end of commencement procession. Mrs. Mamie Eisenhower, an honorary degree recipient, refused to receive her degree unless the costumes were removed. Before the ceremony started, the rains came ruining the costumes and ceremony went indoors. Mrs. Eisenhower received her degree.
