Sammy White Joins Phillies - The former Boston Red Sox catcher has signed on with the Philadelphia Phillies and gets this greeting from Andy Seminick, left, and coach Peanuts Lowrey, trigger man on the automatic pitcher. Seminick is manager of the Miami farm club. White quit baseball after the Red Sox tried to trade him to Cleveland.
