Roaring Mississippi - Historic St. Anthony Falls sends water rushing over its lower dam as the swollen Mississippi handles heavy spring run-off, with much more promised. Residents and industrial plants near the river's edge have been warned to expect higher water next week. The falls furnishes power for industrial plants including Minneapolis flour mills in background. Engineers said water is passing over the dam today at a rate of 42,000 cubic feet per second.
