Riviere, Man. – Twister arrives, Then Strikes – Part of tornado funnel (left) lonely farm dwellings then strikes with furious winds (right). Force demolished structure (right picture) and whipped it into a hall of debris. Winnipeg Free Press photographer caught this sequence while vacationing at La Riviere, Man., about 70 miles southwest. No deaths were reported in the storm Sunday, but the tornada cut a belt of destruction les of prosperous farm land.
