Principals in Injunction Request--Boston fight promoter Sam Silverman (left) leaves Suffolk Superior Court, and Dist. Atty. Garret H. Byrne works at his desk in Boston today, while an injunction was sought by Byrne to block the heavyweight title fight May 25 between Champion Cassius Clay and Sonny Liston. Judge Felix Forte in Suffolk Superior Court said he would hear arguments on Byrne's request for an injunction Thursday morning. Byrne contended that Intercontinental Promotions, Inc., is the actual promoter of the fight, and that Silverman, who is licensed by the state, was acting only in behalf of Intercontinental.
