Radar Energy Preserves Food--Trayful of lobster tails are removed from processing equipment at Raytheon Manufacturing Company's food laboratory by Valeda Michaud after they preserved with the aid of radar microwave energy. The food is held under vacuum at below freezing temperatures during processing, On table, ready to be processes are: steaks and lima beans in front tray; strawberries in middle tray; and chicken breasts in back tray. After preserving, food can be stored on kitchen or grocer's shelf indefinitely at room temperatures.
