This year a total of $1,329,100.36, a record was raised. In the picture above Keith Morgan, chairman of the Committee (left) and Basil O'Connor, president of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis, are presenting the report to the President. In the group watching are, left to right: James S. Adams, Joseph M. Schenck, Harvey Couch, S. Clay Williams and George E. Allen, all of the Committee for the Celebration of the President's Birthday, and Major L. E. Thompson, chairman of the Will Rogers National Theatre Campaign for the Will Rogers Memorial Commission, which recently contributed $100,000 to the National Foundation.
