Washington court house, O. -- Mahlon Wisecup, 49, and his 21-year-old bride, the former Ruth Whitt, were detained today for questioning about slaying of Wisecup's stepfather. Sheriff Orland Hays quoted Wisecup as saying he shot Grant Nichols, 72, near Greenfield in self defense and buried the body under Nichols' cabin.
