Questioned about slaying of publisher

Walter Henry Kruse (left), 53, a Minneapolis mail carrier, is fingerprinted after he gave himself up last night for questioning about the fatal shooting earlier in the day of a nationally known book publisher. The victim was Douglas De Vorss, 52, shot to death in his downtown office. Kruse is the estranged husband of the publisher's housekeeper, Mrs. Mary Kruse, 45. At right is Detective Captain R.H. Collins.
