Reunion - Otto Abetz, Adolf Hitler's ambassador to Nazi-occupied France, and his wife are reunited at Aachen, Germany yesterday after Abetz was pardoned by French President Rene Coty and released from prison near Lille, France. Abetz was under 20-year war crimes sentence imposed by a Paris military tribunal in 1949. President Coty said he pardoned the diplomat "because there was no blood on his hands."
