"Returns" from dead

Mrs. Theresa Butler, 60, who had been pronounced dead by a physician after she was found by a maid in a half-filled tub of water, came to life today as she was being carried into the city morgue on a stretcher. Here, steward John Zelinsky and nurse Margaret Hamilton are shown attending Mrs. Butler at Emergency Hospital where doctors said her condition was "critical." They said it was still uncertain whether or not she would live. The doctor who examined her when she was found estimated she had been dead for 10 hours. Mrs. Butler's jaw moved, however, as she was being carried into the morgue and she was then rushed to Harbor Emergency Hospital.
