Illustrating an incident in H.G. Wells's' "Men Like Gods." George Bellows made a number of drawings to accompany the serial publication of this book in Hearst's International Magazine. The work greatly interested him because of the opportunity to use the nude in illustration, and this interest led to the series of lithographs. (Bellows)
