Prepared for Hurricane Connie-Owners of small craft anchored in Hingham Harbor start pulling the boats ashore after Weather Bureau alerted coastal areas of southern New England for possible issuance of a hurricane warning within 24 to 36 hours. Alert was given while the hurricane-moving slowly northward-was 300 miles southeast of Cape Hatteras, N. C.
