A similar composition to Dodgson number 245, but the head is more erect, and the coat darker; the left arm rests upon a eloping desk, and part of a chair is seen behind the elbow. The arms put in and the whole of the coat shaded; the background put in, but its edges left rough and not enclosed by any line.
