Three-quarter view to the right; thick hair with curls, rolled on the forehead; growing moustaches, light curled beard. Added work on hair and beard and right side of face. Lines have been added below the eyebrow by the bridge of the nose, and also diagonal lines crossing the ear. There is a heavy line cutting the collar of the coat.
