Portland, Maine - Like Ghost Train. This double-header Grand Trunk train bucked huge snow drifts for 24 hours on a trip from Montreal to Portland. It arrived at 9 a.m. today, 15 hours late. Some drifts were 5-feet high. At Danville Junction, near Auburn, they covered signal lights. Maintenance man Andrew Glassford is getting ready to clear off the locomotives.
