Light falls from the right upon the lower portion of massive columns, round and rectangular, between which a group of priests move on towards the entrance of the church. Two women stand in shadow on the left, close to the actual door. Heavily re-worked with dry point, the shadows much darker. All the figures re-touched. Between the big column (left) and the doorway are stray oblique lines slanting from right to left; across the big column on the right strong lines slant from left to right. The lines on the pavement are re-touched
