Police hunt couple

Detroit -- Police are searching for John Thompson, 22, shown in ROTC uniform,after police said he abducted Ann Piri, 17, from her home at gunpoint today. Thompson was reported to have dragged Miss Piri down the stairway of her home while keeping members of her family away by firing a shot in their direction. Relatives said Miss Piri had gone out with Thompson only a few times and did not want to see him any more.
