In the middle of the print are two figures. A woman is standing and her eyes are turned towards the sky and she has one hand folded on her chest. Her other hand is placed lightly on the arm of her beloved, a man. He is seated, but ready to kneel before her. His eyes are fixed on her and both his arms are crossed in front of his chest in an attitude of enchantment. In the background, the last gleams of twilight shine in the sky. On the right are the walls of the terrace that are higher than the tree branches. There is thick shading on the left.
