Pitcher's Hat is Off to Fielder -- Cincinnati Reds pitcher Jim Maloney doffs his hat on mound to center fielder Vada Pinson (28) who made a flat-on-his-back catch for last out in game against New York Mets to give Maloney his 19th win of the season. Catcher John Edwards and an unidentified team member joins them on mound in New York last night. Pinson tripped and fell while chasing high fly by Mets Johnny Stephenson with two Mets on base, but managed to reach out and grab ball while lying o on his bask to end the game. Reds won game, 2-1.
