Donna Karpiak, a 7-year-old Baltimore flying student, is described by her instructor as "very aggressive" and able to "do it all herself she had the strength." Donna uses 8-inch stilts to reach the plane's rudder pedals. She won't be able to solo until she's 16, but in the meanwhile, her father, Donald Karpiak, an engineer, is coaching her in physics and meteorology.
