Pickets At Canton – Demanding pay boosts because of rising prices, these striking members of the CIO Textile Workers Union picketed the Neponset Woolen Mills at Canton. Their lines were duplicated at some 160 mills, mostly in New England, as 70,000 woolen and worsted workers struck.
