Phoenix, Ariz. -- Farmers Chased -- Water swirls down a farm road near Stanfield, about 55 miles southwest of Phoenix. Town was evacuated late last night when the flood waters from recent rains spilled out of washes and smashed dikes and levees. Stanfield, with a population of about 1000, and Maricopa, about 500, were in the path of floods which started 80 miles southeast at the Papago Indian Reservation capital of Sells. Scene here shows farm workers leaving cotton camp for high ground.
