Philippine Typhoon Damage--This destruction was caused by the worst typhoon in 50 years which swept through Southern Luzon in the Philippines Oct. 21. Tangled debris in foreground was a residence at the Legaspi City airport. Roofless structure in background the airport terminal building. Leon Riansay, airline manager here said instruments at the weather station were carried away when winds rose to 125 miles an hour.
