Old North Church, Hull and Salem Sts., Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1723. In the steeple of this church at the night of April 18, 1776, two signal lanterns were displayed by request of Paul Revere to warn Col. Conant and the watchers on the Charlestown side that the British troops were crossing the Charles River on their way to Lexington and Concord.
