Performs Heart Transplant in New York Hospital -- Dr. C. Walton Lillehei, a noted heart surgeon and one of the teachers of Dr. Christiaan N. Barnard, today led a team of surgeons in performing the world's 20th human heart transplant operation in New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center on an unidentified male.
