Three Generations of Harvard Football Players Grandfather, son and grandson get together at Harvard to talk over three generations of Harvard football as seen through the eyes of one family since the gridiron days of Henry Dwight Sedgwick, class of '82. Mr. Sedgwick, who recently celebrated his 86th birthday, chats with his son, R. Minturn Sedgwick, '21 (left) and Henry Dwight Sedgwick II, '5` (right). The eldest Sedgwick won his letter in the season of 1877 and 1878, and his son "Duke" Sedgwick was regular left tackle in the 1919-20 seasons. Carrying on the family tradition, young Sedgwick plays on the current season's freshman Harvard squad.
