Two police officers restrain Mrs. Eleanor Crossman, 27, after she had just learned that her three-year-old daughter, Sharon, had been found dead beneath a house porch, two miles from the family home. Sharon had been missing for two days. A barking dog led to the discovery of the body. Sharon had not been assaulted sexually.
