Mrs. Frances Kellison, mother of six children, was pictured enroute to the Women's Bureau, where she was formally charged with murder, after her husband, John Howard Kellison, 25, a typewriter repair man, had died from two gunshot wounds in the back. The couple lived in the 1300 block of eleventh street, N.W. and according to police reports of the tragedy; two of Mrs. Kellison's small daughters told of hearing their mother and stepfather quarreling for several hours on the sidewalk in front of the family home, before and or walking out in time to see Mrs. Kellison fire the fatal shots. the police report also states that the couple lived as Mr. and Mrs. john h. Frederick.
