Mother jailed with baby

Mrs. Ira Adams is shown with her 3-weeks-old baby in county jail after she and her husband (right) were arrested yesterday on bad check charges. Near bed in jail hospital bed is bread carton she used for baby bed. Court ordered Mrs. Adams released to relatives but when they had no room she returned to jail. They had eight other children and came here recently from Georgia.
