Pentagon Officials Visits Raytheon - Pentagon Officials on tour of Raytheon Company's Andover, Mass. HAWK missile production plant Friday, (Aug. 21) inspect electronic platter housing section of automatic pilot for the surface-to-air missile. Pointing out platter componentry is Charles F. Adams, Raytheon President. His audience includes: left to right - Thomas D. Morris, Assistant Defense Secretary for installation and logistics; Maj. General E. J. Gibson, Director of Procurement and Production for the Army Materiel Command; and Daniel M. Luevano, Assistant Army Secretary for installation and logistics. Electronic assembler on line is Ida Licciardi, of 58 Saunders Streets, Lawrence, Mass. During tour the officials saw value engineering examples which are saving taxpayers about a quarter-million dollars annually. Raytheon, which developed HAWK missile system for the Army, is prime contractor on the program. The Boston Procurement District is the procurement agency in New England for the Army Material Command.
