Moon Shine. Engineer Robert C. Guyer checks out a laser system that will be in operation on the Apollo 15 Spacecraft as it orbits the moon next month. The laser is part of an altimeter system developed by the RCA Aerospace Systems Division in Burlington, Mass. With its "eyes" exposed, the altimeter will bounce its beams off the moon to not only map the varying features of the lunar surface, but also provide constant precise measurement of the altitude of the Command Module.
