Ella DiCarlo, an amateur oral historian trained at American international college interviews Harold "Bobby" Little, retired boxer and leader of the black community in Holyoke. She was one of several adult volunteers who helped students at Holyoke high school collect the memories of senior citizens on tape. Interest in oral history is growing as many communities exploring their past in connection with bicentennial observances.
