Mrs. Pauline Blankenship, 36-year-old farm mother from Murfreesboro, Tenn., takes her tractor and rig for a practice run on a hill at the Hershey Estates Farm where she will compete in the National Contour Plowing Contest tomorrow. Mrs. Blankenship, who said she was in the contest for fun, said the slope actually was too steep for contour plowing. "Actually," she declared, "it isn't safe on a tractor." The Tennessee contour champion said, however, that she would be in the competition tomorrow.
